What makes a 4130 quote fast

  • Size and wall for every line: NPS and schedule, or outside diameter by inside diameter for heavy wall
  • The working pressure and the strength level, for example 15,000 psi with 85 ksi minimum yield
  • Heat treatment and hardness: quenched and tempered, and 22 HRC maximum if the line is in sour service
  • For union-end fittings, the figure number and end configuration, for example FIG 1502, male by female by female
  • Tests and documents: Charpy temperature, hardness survey, hydrostatic test, third-party inspection
